Facebook Makes it Easier for you to Contact
So you see an old flame in Facebook and decide to email her. You browse through her Facebook profile to look for her email…and 1 hour later, you’re still looking for it. This seems to be the norm when the Profile page is full of cluttered information and applications.
In order to remedy this, Facebook has devised the “Extended Profile” feature. What this does is that it allows people to move unused profile boxes to an expandable part of their profile. Friends now click through to see the boxes located in the extended portion.
Extended profile has helped with this problem, and in addition, this week we’ve also decided to lock the “Personal Information” box—which includes contact information—into the spot beneath your Mini-Feed on your profile. You won’t be able to move this box; we’re hoping this makes it easier for your friends to get in touch with you when they want by not having to scour your entire profile for one small piece of info.
Now, you can stalk, ehem, contact your old flame easier.
